CNN+ was the first CNN-branded local-language news channel operated and controlled outside of Atlanta. The 24-hour Spanish language news channel is based in Madrid and produced by Compania Independiente de Noticias de Television, a company held 50 percent by Turner Broadcasting System International and 50 percent by Sogecable, owner of Canal Plus España and Canal Satélite Digital.
